Clinical Psychologists Sydney
We are an established practice of
Clinical Psychologists in the Sydney CBD. As Clinical Psychologists we provide therapy for difficulties ranging in severity from debilitating disorders, or significant loss or trauma, to helping people navigate life transitions, deal with challenges, or enhance their effectiveness, performance and wellbeing. One key difference between Clinical Psychologists and other therapists or counsellors is that in addition to providing general counselling and therapy, a Clinical Psychologist is qualified to provide diagnosis and treatment of mental health disorders.
If you are suffering from a mental health disorder, such as major depression or anxiety or other psychological difficulties that interfere significantly with your life, you are likely to be eligible for Medicare rebates.
Our Psychologists
Our team of clinical psychologists encompasses a wide variety of areas of expertise. In addition to working with anxiety, depression, relationships, and
couples counselling, individual clinical psychologists possess specific areas of interest and experience. When you arrange your initial appointment we will work to match you with a psychologist who is well suited to your needs. Many of our psychologists also possess strong backgrounds in areas that inform and support therapy and counselling, such as research and training and supervision of other psychologists.
Clients outside Sydney
If you are based outside Sydney or NSW, in an area with restricted access to Clinical Psychologists or counsellors, one option is to undertake therapy by phone or Skype. If you would like to find out more about this alternative, please feel free to call us to discuss your situation. Alternatively, if you live in Sydney or the Sydney area but are unable to attend counselling or therapy in person, for instance if you are housebound or unable to travel to and from appointments in Sydney, web or phone-based counselling ay also be an option for you.
Couple Therapy and Counselling
In addition to treating psychological disorders and providing counselling and therapy to individuals, a strong area of interest in our practice is relationship counselling and marriage counselling or couple therapy. Please visit the
relationships page to learn more about the relationship areas that we can help you with, or visit the couples counselling page to read more about couples counselling. We provide relationship counselling to both individuals and couples seeking to better understand their relationship patterns and improve their relationships.
